What are VR glasses?


VR glasses, namely VR head display, virtual reality head mounted display equipment. What is the principle of VR glasses?


1. Staggered display


The working principle of interleaving display mode is to divide a picture into two image fields, that is, the single scanning line field formed by singular lines or the even scanning line field or even scanning line field formed by single line and even line. When using interlaced display mode for stereoscopic imaging, we can separate the left eye image and the right eye image into single field and even image field (or in reverse order), which is called stereoscopic interlacing format. Its working principle is to display the left and right eye images on the screen interactively. With stereo glasses and this kind of stereoscopic display mode, we only need to use the vertical synchronization signal as the shutter switching synchronization signal to achieve the purpose of stereoscopic imaging. With other stereoscopic imaging devices, the left and right eye images (separated by vertical synchronous signals) can be sent to the left and right eye display devices.


3. Disparity fusion


The reason why people can see the three-dimensional scenery is that the eyes can see things independently, and there is a distance between the left and right eyes, resulting in some subtle differences in the angle of view of the two eyes, and such a difference will make the individual scenery of the two eyes have a little displacement. The difference between the left eye and the right eye is called parallax. The human brain skillfully fuses the images of the two eyes to produce a three-dimensional visual effect with a sense of space in the brain.


Because there is only one computer screen, but people have two eyes, and it is necessary to separate the images from the left and right eyes to have stereo vision. At this point, we can use 3D glasses to make the parallax continuously displayed on the screen. Through the control IC, it sends stereo signals (left eye, right eye, left eye, right eye, successively and alternately repeats in sequence) to the screen, and simultaneously sends synchronization signals to 3D stereoscopic glasses to switch the images of left and right eyes synchronously. In other words, the left eye can see the scene that the left eye should see, and the right eye can see the scene that the right eye should see. 3D stereo glasses are a kind of penetrating liquid crystal lens, which can control the opening and closing of liquid crystal glasses through the circuit. On can control the glasses lenses to be completely black, so as to cover one eye's image; when off, it can control the glasses lens to be transparent, so that the other eye can see the image that the other eye should see. The 3D glasses can imitate the real situation, making the left and right eye pictures continuously and alternately displayed on the screen, and with the 3D stereo glasses, combined with the physiological characteristics of human vision, the real 3D images can be seen.
